Taut muscles, dappled by shade & sunlight.
Rustling leaves overheard, sketch errant pathways
over u'r smooth, chestnut skin; beaded with the
rare evanescent jewels born from our passion.
The breath of summer wind pours onto us from above.
A cool liquor gently flowing from an enchanted chalice.
Draped in invisible sheets, woven with the fine thread
of a never-ending love. Violent, syn chronic ardor.
Familiar pulsations of untold joy mingle with the flowing
movement of our conjoined being, in a new direction; loaded
with the promise of sweet satisfaction. Each time different
from the last. Each time precious. Devastatingly powerful.
Until the explosion comes, a momentous crescendo of stormy
sensations. Gasping, crying, moving as one, & then the
culmination has passed. Our writhing bodies come to rest
in a natural embrace. Sleep now, my darling...!!!

On Exhaustion, Or Retaliation, Or Boredom:
Why is the truth so endearing?
If I should spurn her
with reason & rationale,
why should she be any less jaded
than if I were to repel her with malice?
This isn't a testament to her nature
(I don't think it is, at least)
as much as it is an inquiry
to the odd construction
of human emotion:
It is not a facade,
as many modern institutions are.
It is a bred & built infrastructure,
and one that works efficiently & effectively
for all of those who live under its influence.
And then there r those of us who live
far away from the center of its operation,
and have managed to avoid integration
into its nest of tangled railways,
and have repelled the advances of
urbanization of sentiment,
and dwell in simplistic, rural counties
where intelligence is practically deduced,
and not emotionally produced
by the structured school of passion.
For those of us who r aloof,
distant from it all,
riding the tube is an unnecessary confusion...!!!

I'M HERE
What I see as fat in my stomach & thighs
He calls “the most beautiful curves in the world”
What I see as small chested
He calls normal size & perfect.
When I put on too much makeup,
He gently smears it off, while saying "you don't need this stuff, it's hiding u'r gorgeous face"
When he takes my hand & kisses it, I feel the world falling away beneath my feet, & myself rising into
whatever world lies above
When he tells me about his past, & how damaged he's been by others, I cry with him, because I've been through
exactly the same.
When he takes my face & kisses me softly with all his passion, & looks straight into my eyes
And says
"You r my forever. Please Anna, please stay with me forever"
When we talk about our future, I feel butterflies & laughter erupt from my gut. I feel warm & giddy, like a
kid going to a candy store
When he takes my head into his shoulder, & tells me it's ok as I cry
"It's okay to cry, just let it out sweet heart. I'm here. Don't worry, okay baby? Just relax. I'm here."

Asleep in his arms
Last night
I fell asleep in his arms.
He had already gone to bed, and
Half asleep, he pulled me close.
His arms were around my waist as he
Sleepily kissed the back of my neck.
This morning,
We argued.
Over stupid shit we both agree
Was stupid shit.
But despite raised voices
And irritated tones,
We didn't make up.
Because before I left for work
I kissed his forehead,
and said "I love u."
And he smiled & hugged me
And said goodbye.
Because "happily ever after"
Is just a story. Love
Does not conquer all & I will still
Fight & argue with the love of my life,
To the end of said life.
To believe otherwise
Is to believe in perfection.
Perfection is stagnation.
The only things to grow in stagnant waters
Are poison & toxic.
I will take my fights & arguments
Over a fairy tale ending
Of emptiness & sterile perfection
Any day.
When he comes home,
We'll probably fight over dinner.
And tonight,
We'll sleep in the same bed,
Pressed against each other.
